KSTAR's BluE is not an inverter with a battery bolted on. It is a system designed from scratch so that inverter, CATL battery and backup management live together in one compact, quiet cabinet with IP65 certification for outdoor installation.

KSTAR and CATL jointly founded a manufacturing plant with an investment of 150 million dollars and an initial capacity of 1 GWh, designed specifically to integrate battery and inverter from the engineering phase.
